    Xylitol is a solid sweetener with the sweetening power of sugar but is not sugar. Perfect for cake making because you use the same amount as sugar, making it really easy to dose

    Also, I baked this cake in the air fryer and it came out absolutely perfect. If you don't have one, you can safely use the oven

    ➡ Peel the apples and cut them into thin slices (I used a mandoline).

    ➡ In a bowl, beat the milk with the egg and butter.

    ➡ Incorporate the sifted flour and baking powder and mix well

    ➡ Add xylitol (or other sweetener) and mix

    ➡ Add 2/3 of the apple slices and mix gently

    ➡ Pour the dough into a rimmed baking pan with a bottom lined with baking paper

    ➡ Decorate with the remaining apple slices and sprinkle the surface with a layer of xylitol

    ➡ Bake it for 20 minutes in the air fryer at a temperature of 180°. If you do not have one, you can safely bake it for 35 minutes and do the toothpick test to see if it is cooked
