Rinse the lentils and cook them according to directions. I cooked them 20 minutes in a pressure cooker.

In the meantime prepare the sauce by sautéing some onion and adding the tomato pulp, adjusting salt and spices

When the lentils are cooked, drain them and save the cooking broth because it comes in handy for many other recipes

In a blender, put the lentils, the remaining onion, flour, spices and flavorings of your liking, a tablespoon of oil and add salt to taste

Blend everything and make up the meatballs using a spoon, very handy ice cream spoon, and add them to the sauce
